The value for money at the Railway Sleeper was excellent, with a beautifully designed and cosy room that had all the necessary amenities. The location was convenient, close to the Seamus Heaney HomePlace centre, and the staff, especially Anne, were helpful and responsive.
The breakfast selection could have been more varied and diverse.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely beautiful, with a lovely old-fashioned charm that made me feel right at home. The attention to detail in the furnishings and the cozy ambiance created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for senior people like me to navigate around. It was a pleasant surprise to see the exquisite Tilly lamps and high-quality bedlinen, which added a touch of elegance to the overall experience.
It would have been even better if there were more activities tailored specifically for senior people. Perhaps some gentle exercises or organized outings would have made the vacation even more enjoyable.

Clean property with attention to detail. Old fashioned lamps, Fogarty quilt, high quality bedlinen and home furnishings. Everything you need, fresh milk, coffee machine, corkscrew. Perfect ambience. Trains and muffled announcements, but didn't impact stay. Partner said it was the perfect "home from home.

Towels were so fluffy and soft, it was like being wrapped in a cloud. I didn't want to let go of them, they were that good. Absolutely luxurious!
Oh, just a little noise from the outside because of a working railway nearby. But who needs peace and quiet when you can have train sounds, right?

The property was spotlessly clean and the interior design was stylish. The little touches like the original railway-inspired decor were a nice touch. The amenities provided were top-notch, including biscuits, chocolates, coffee pods, and dressing gowns. It felt luxurious, yet cozy and homely. The owner was very helpful and communication was excellent. The location was great, especially if you're attending an event at a nearby hotel. a lovely stay.
The sound from the trains passing by was noticeable, and the windows could be thicker to minimize the noise. It wasn't a major disturbance, but it could be improved.
